I have just experienced every mothers nightmare - the chicken (aka Miss A) has flown (literally) the coop! She left this morning - very early start - awake at 2.00am to be at the airport by 4.00am - for a school excursion to Canberra. I now have a huge hole in my heart.

    I am not looking forward to my kids getting big enough to fly the coop!
