Welcome to my blog of little bits of randomness from me and my amazing life. I have been inspired by all the lovely bloggers out there that I decided that it is high time that I join you all and I look forward to receiving your feedback.
I enjoy all things photographic (although I am only an amateur and use a point and shoot camera) and craft, and intend to share some of this with you .
Yesterday I went to the Craft Expo. Let me tell you that it was sooooo much better than a year ago - we maybe because my interests have diversified somewhat. But it was like heaven - to walk into aisles and aisles of fabric, papercraft, accessories all with "SHOW" prices and yes I even saw some of the famous Magnolia Stamps, and of course - coffee - where does one start - but I was very good I only spent a little but I did get a few bargains. Can't wait for the next one in June!
It's the weekend again - yeah! What will I be doing.....
you see.... there are a couple more markets and then the CRAFT EXPO !!!!! at the Convention Centre. So many stash must haves - must make a list ...... no not on your life ...... WANT IT? NEED IT? ALL - papers/fabric/buttons/ribbon etc.... the list is endless.
Anyway I received a parcel in the mail - a somewhat small parcel but still a parcel -been waiting for ages and ages - I love it when the postie arrives - I am sooooo excited...... anyway here it is my much anticipated LABELS.
Well the Handmade Expo has come and gone again.... oh so quickly. Lots of fun was had by all..... so much handmadeness in just one place. Anyway here are a few piccies and I cannot wait until the next one in April. Anyway better get back to the restocking.....
Only one week to go until the next Handmade Expo at the Ipswich Turf Club. All our hearts are pumping as we finish off with all the final details of our goodies - so many ideas - so little time - anyway better get back to it.
Lots actually .... when I can ..... between work, study, family etc etc. but no pics - sorry. You'll have to come and visit me next Sat 20th at the Handmade Expo Ipswich Turf Club. I had a ball at the last markets so I will definately be back - same place, same time 8am - 2pm. Hope to see you there!
I have just opened my study books - yes I have taken that step and enrolled in the Advanced Diploma - now I am wondering why - all that study again - heellpp!! LOL:)
The first assignment is to list my skills that I already have and conduct an audit of them comparing with skills that I might need to learn.
As I was reading and thinking about these skills (that I didn't realise were special skills) I came to realise just how much everyone is unique and have special qualities, talents and gifts and we are all on this planet for reason although everyone has a different reason and purpose. Just listening to someone or even being organised or being flexible are fantastic qualities to have and we should embrace these gifts and use them to the best of our abilities.
Yes, I have now tried my hand at two different markets and had a ball - so next month you will find me at the Handmade Expo again and the Ipswich Indoor Market. I need to replenish my stocks......but after this weekend.
I have been totally busy at work and haven't really had time to do much, but I have fallen in love all over again with ....... my sewing machine - so unfortunately no scrapping for awhile ..... yes you heard right ......no scrapping!
But that is me..... totally eclectic. I have to go where and when Mr Mojo takes me - so I have a few surprises up my sleeve to be revealed at another time.
Isn't this rain absolutely lovely! and hasn't it cooled down ....... well I guess now that it is March and summer is officially over, the weather will start to cool.... but not looking forward to the coldness of winter - so for now I will just enjoy every part of the weather God has given us.
I live in sunny Brisvegas. I am a wife of 19 years, and a mother to 2 teens - 16 and almost 13, and adopted mum to appox 15 0 - 2 year olds that I care/develop/educate (yes - educate!) for on a daily basis at work. My hobby at this moment is scrapbooking although I have dabbled in others.
